SprouT is the main unit in the storyline of the manga THE iDOLM@STER 2: The world is all one!!. It is made up of Haruka Amami, Yukiho Hagiwara, and Hibiki Ganaha.
History
SprouT had three CD releases in the manga, one containing their debut song, The world is all one!!, another being a compilation of each member's image songs: START!!, Brand New Day!, and Kosmos, Cosmos. A later album, "Blossom", placed high on the DOTOP TV Ranking.
Their Producer was originally assigned to them by Takao Kuroi of 961 Production to spy on the rival agency. However, after working with the girls for a while, the new Producer turned out to like helping them more than hurting them. When he is revealed to be working for 961 Production, the idols still manage to trust him after a small period of time. This event cements their good relations, as well cause even more dislike to Kuroi's agency.
This unit is very friendly with other 765 units, and their actions actually started two other units: One-Two→Tails and Kachou Fuugetsu. SprouT took part in a Combined LIVE with Ryuuguu Komachi, and later appeared in a Nationwide LIVE Tour with the two aforementioned units, alongside not only Ryuuguu Komachi, but also the idols Miki Hoshii, and Makoto Kikuchi. Their actions earned them and the rest of 765 Production an Idol Academy Awards Nomination.

Trivia
- SprouT's members have never recorded any songs together, other than group songs with other members of 765 Production.
- SprouT has their own radio talk show, SprouT Radio, where Haruka, Hibiki, and Yukiho use many of the same concepts used in THE IDOLM@STER STATION!!!.
- This unit debuted at an audition as an entirely underleveled team against some strong units of 961 Production. They still managed to win, and perform without a problem during the broadcast.
- SprouT has only been seen losing to one unit ever. The unit they lost to was Jupiter, who outperformed them during a broadcast after the nervous unit members were bullied directly by Kuroi.
- SprouT is not the first unit to have a falling out with their Producer. Chihaya Kisaragi and her Producer severed their ties until the end of the events of THE iDOLM@STER relations manga.
- This unit's Producer is the first official spy of 961 Production to appear in any iDOLM@STER manga series.
- In THE iDOLM@STER SHINY FESTA, the unit can be seen dancing together in the MVs for the song THE IDOLM@STER.[1]
- Some of the first game artwork for THE iDOLM@STER 2 released featured these girls standing together.
