Character Description

Nanami is an aspiring girl who hails from a quiet fishing community. A somewhat peculiar girl who adores both eating and admiring fish, Nanami is easygoing and cheerful. Her father is a fisherman as well, and she carries a stuffed fish named Sabaori-kun (サバオリくん) with her everywhere she goes. She has a sort of Captain's Log, which is used for tracking her fishing tallies and catch photos.

In the tie in Cinderella Girls Theater skits, Nanami is introduced by Kiyora Yanagi. She is shown to be very quirky and speaks like a typical seagoing person. She always has a fish on hand and has made fish related dishes while working.

  • Nanami was voiced on August 21st, 2021 through her [Shining New World] SR card in the original Mobage game, as a result of placing first in the 2nd Voice Idol Audition. She won her voice alongside Kotoka Saionji and Makino Yagami who won second and third respectively.
  • She is in a unit with Kai Nishijima called Commentary☆Fresh Fish Corner (解説☆鮮魚コーナー).
  • She shares the same birthday with Asselin BB II.

Fan Culture

  • Fans sometimes group her with Yukari Mizumoto, Atsumi Munakata and Shinobu Kudo, as they all hail from Aomori. This group is known as Four Aomori Sisters (青森四姉妹 Aomori Yonshimai) or Cinderella Girls Aomori Group (デレマス青森組 Deremasu Aomorigumi) in Japanese.
    • An official unit with the same members, under the Four Aomori Sisters name, was introduced in the 33rd Dream LIVE Festival and brought back in the 45th Idol Live Royale.
    • Another fan unit Nanami is featured in is 151cm (also known as 151's), which consists of idols who share the same height of 151 cm, along with Hinako Kita, Yoshino Yorita, Atsumi, and Hayate Hisakawa.
  • She is also occasionally depicted together with Miyako Anzai, as they both share the same three sizes.
    • They both are also grouped with Kana Imai, Kaoru Ryuzaki, and Yui Ohtsuki by fans under the name Cinderella Girls Upper Teeth Club (デレマス前歯部 Deremasu Maeba-bu), as they are all commonly depicted with only visible upper teeth.
  • Due to her interest with ocean life, she was paired by either Chris Koron or Hibiki Ganaha, or even three of them at the same time in fanworks.
  • She has become somewhat associated with Nana Abe, whose "forever 17" gimmick is believed to be a reference to Kikuko Inoue, the mother of Nanami's voice actress.
