IYAM is a unit that appeared on the third CD of THE IDOLM@STER MASTERPIECE series of CDs. The name is derived from its three members - Iori Minase, Yayoi Takatsuki, and Ami/Mami.
History
IYAM is a unit created for the third THE iDOLM@STER CD. They are on friendly terms with fellow arcade game units ACM and HYR. This unit was popular due to the unit being made up of the youngest members. Since Ami and Mami were originally classified as a single idol in the First Vision series, the unit can be considered to be both a trio or quartet.

- THE iDOLM@STER (anime) - The girls are the primary focus of the second episode.

Trivia
- Fans sometimes add Miki Hoshii or Hibiki Ganaha into this unit, due to them being around the same age. This idea surged in popularity when THE iDOLM@STER 2 allowed quintets to perform on stage in-game.
- Interestingly, Yayoi, Iori, Ami, Mami, and Hibiki would become the main characters of THE iDOLM@STER SHINY FESTA: Funky Note and record songs together, such as Visionary and Ohayo○Sunshine.
