IM@S ALLSTARS1641 was a grouping for the idols who worked for 765 Production and 876 Production during the events of Dearly Stars.

History

To commemorate the series before it was significantly changed by THE iDOLM@STER 2, the idols of 765 Production and 876 Production released a version of the song, THE IDOLM@STER together. Interestingly, this CD unit added 765 Production's office lady Kotori Otonashi, as well as the former Project Fairy members.

While this unit never reappeared again, it was later restored as 765+876PRO ALLSTARS with the exception of Kotori.

Trivia

• This unit would eventually be rebranded as 765+876PRO ALLSTARS in THE iDOLM@STER anime after 765 Production changed their group name to 765PRO ALLSTARS.
• In Dearly Stars it is revealed that Miki Hoshii, Takane Shijou, and Hibiki Ganaha joined 765 Production, suggesting that this recording was taken when the trio joined the 765 agency.
  • In addition, the number "1641" comes from adding 765 and 876 together.
• This unit was the largest recorded unit song at the time of its release, having a total of 17 members. This record was broken three years later by Thank You!'s release on THE IDOLM@STER LIVE THE@TER PERFORMANCE 01 "Thank You!", which had a total of 50 members in its recording.
• This unit was the only unit to feature both male and female members, until the official debut of the unit Dearly Stars.
