History
As planning begins for the unit's Platinum Live performance, everyone is in high spirits, if a little nervous. Chihaya has some doubts over whether she can truly be a leader; she doesn't think she's the type. But after being assured that she can be the best leader she can be, she decides to focus on what a Chihaya-leader is like.
Chihaya's vocal, with Fuka's help greatly impresses the other members, and Chihaya begins to teach the others her singing ways. During this, Chihaya figures out that she wants the unit to embody the soul of singing, working in perfect harmony. To get closer to this, everyone attends one of Julia's band's shows. It's Emily's first time attending a rock show, and everyone enjoys it greatly, moved by her performance. The group decides to hold their very own street live, and perform their unit song for the first time. Despite Fuka's reluctance, the group's song catches the attention of passerby, and is a large success.
Yet the next day, Chihaya reveals that she wants to quit being the leader and switch positions with Julia. She explains that while the other girls have their own soul of the song, and were able to make the passerby smile and enjoy it. But when Chihaya came to sing, everyone just stared instead of enjoying the song and smiling. Producer, knowing that he can't change her mind by words alone, convinces her to attend a summer festival before they do any switching. Julia notices Chihaya's depressed mood, but the two can't cheer her up. That is, until Matsuri convinces Chihaya to do a festival dance with her. Chihaya, sensing how much the others care about her, decides to stay the leader.
After a rooftop practice session, everyone feels free and ready to perform in perfect harmony.
