D-Love is a unit that appears in THE iDOLM@STER relations manga. Yukiho Hagiwara and Iori Minase are the members of this unit, with Ritsuko Akizuki acting as producer after the Producer gave her the job. This unit was created after the success if Miki Hoshii and Chihaya Kisaragi. It was later part of a merger with BLACK PRINCESS, Idol Egg, and Melt 'Chu Up! and formed the idol unit Namco Angel.

History

Originally in the unit Namco Angel, Iori and Yukiho followed Miki Hoshii's lead until their Producer decided to disband the group so he could focus on Miki's solo career. The remaining two idols then created the unit D-Love with the Producer continuing as their producer, and they debuted with the song My Best Friend while wearing an angel motif. They gained enough popularity to perform on the radio show "Haruka's Place", and took part in the "TOP x TOP" audition. While remaining on friendly terms with Miki Hoshii, the duo competed in the audition. Unfortunately, all three 765 PRO idols failed the audition when a DNA Productions idol, Mikokoro Sano, won.

Later in the year, Ritsuko Akizuki stepped up to take the job as their producer. With their new producer, the unit enters an audition with Tougouji Productions unit, Devil Angel. This rival unit stole D-Love's image, which causes the unit to fail and get less and less jobs. As they try to defend themselves from the attacks and take on menial jobs, Iori and Yukiho watch as THE iDOLM@STER GRAND PRIX gets closer. With Chihaya Kisaragi being the only member of 765 PRO who has been nominated to take place in the event, their unit is disbanded, and the former members become part of the ALLSTARS unit Namco Angel.
