Character Description

Chiaki is a very serious and mature young woman. In her initial cards she acts very aloof and serious, but starts being a bit more cheerful after meeting Misato in the Pajama Party event. Chiaki comments that Misato's cheerfulness managed to move her, and the two wound up being friends. She is also friends with Midori, both known as Brillant Noir. Chiaki also has a close relationship with Yukimi, similar to an older sister to the younger idol.

It was revealed in Starlight Stage that Chiaki became an idol purely to aim for the top. As she heard that idols aren't limited to singing, dancing, or acting, and can take different jobs; she decided to become an idol to surpass her own limits.

In the tie-in Cinderella Girls Theater skits, she can be seen attending the Pajama Party with Misato and notes that everyone else attending is very young compared to them. It was not until the Pajama Party where Chiaki decided to lighten up her demeanor towards people. While staying at a hotel for an off-site job, Mahiro points out that Chiaki’s nightdress is in a much more mature style than the cutesy pajamas she wore to the Pajama Party. Chiaki says that it’s important for idols to wear things that suit them, causing Mahiro to laugh as she says that Chiaki is actually choosing a style the Producer likes. Chiaki is quick to deny this. Depicted as quick on her feet, she makes a quick save when both Miyabi and Misaki drop trays of food at an event. She is a good swimmer. Chiaki’s dream role is that of the daughter of a noble family, clad in a regal dress, or a slightly greedy queen. In the later strips, while Chiaki has since been closer to fellow 20 year-old idols, she draws the line between having a beer party with them and meeting the Producer in a personal dinner.

Chiaki: What I focus on usually changes depending on my condition for that day, but I guess taking care of my hair would be the main thing I do.
Chiaki: I received a lot of compliments for my hair, so I believe that that is one of my appeals.
Question: I'm preparing to take an entrance exam, but studying is so hard. Could you cheer me on? I want to become ladylike, stylish and splendid college student just like you, Chiaki-chan.

In Starlight Stage, her image stats are fairly balanced with a small lead in Vocal.
Chiaki is the second youngest Red Ballad member, the youngest being Aya.
A Cinderella Girls Theater Wide strip, based on the Furachi na CANVAS event, depicts a scene in which Sachiko wears various wigs to emulate Syuko's fashion. One of these wigs resembles Chiaki's hair.

Fan Culture

Ever since the beginning, Chiaki is often placed as the second Cool idol in the roster, much like Yuka and Aiko for respectively Cute and Passion. This has led some fans to depict all three together in the same fashion of New Generation.
- Coincidentally, Chiaki is also the only unvoiced one out of all three.
